These terms cover your use of this website, operated by CG Joinery & Building (Aberfeldy) Ltd, company number SC787125, registered in Scotland. Building work is carried out under a separate written quotation and project terms agreed with you before work begins.
Website information
We keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it is a general guide. It is not a quotation or offer. Descriptions of services, processes and timescales depend on the specific project and are confirmed in writing.
Quotations
Quotations are prepared after discussing your project and, where appropriate, a site visit. Each quotation sets out the scope, exclusions and any assumptions. Site visits and quotations are currently provided with no obligation; any change to this will be made clear before you book.
Project terms
The scope of work, price, payment arrangements, programme and how changes (variations) are agreed are set out in your project terms. Plumbing and electrical installations are carried out through specialist trades coordinated by us.
Defects liability
Builds are backed by 6-month and 1-year defects liability periods. The period that applies, and what it covers, is confirmed in writing for each project.
Insurance
We hold £2 million public liability and £2 million employers’ liability insurance.
Liability for this website
We are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on general website information, or for the content of external websites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction.
